Jigsaw Puzzle

What am I doing with my life.

Here, have a Jigsaw Puzzle, "Puzzle" for short. I've been wanting to throw her up here for ages, considering that she has been literally the only thing I've doodled in a worrisomely long time. Maybe when I get a chance I'll put together a proper ref sheet for her.

I know we've only seen one spotty pony in canon so far (Pipsqueak, holla), but what can I say, I'm a sucker for piebald! Not to mention that gypsy vanners are my favorite horse breed, so Puzzle's (very loosely) based on them.

Her cutie mark is a winged shooting star. Her special talent is problem-solving. Puzzle works as a courier and spends her time travelling all over Equestria, being a general wander-bug. She loves flying, reading, flying, stargazing, flying, flying, birds, and meeting people. And flying.

...I needed this. Badly. And I don't mean the pony so much as the fact that it has been a terribly, terribly long time since I have *made* anything. Or anything creative, at least. It's awful. I've been flat on my rump with work, studying harder than I ever have before, and it still isn't enough. I'm ok, but I didn't realize how much of an impact it would have on me, emotionally, to not be able to take time off for art or writing. Creating beautiful things heals me. I could use some healing right about now. This. Felt. Amazing. To Make. Life is kinda ok right now. ^^
