Sorry for the vanishing-act! Things got a little crazy on my end, and unfortunately there wasn't any time left over for dA! But now I am happily ensconced in college, and once again I have some spare time for teh internetz!
So...here's something I've been meaning to post for AGES but never got around to fixing up. This was a project for an art class last semester (my favorite project, actually, although it took me far longer than it should have... ); we were supposed to make our own renditions of the Italian "grotesque" drawings (so named because they were found in grottoes, not because they were gross! XP ). Unfortunately, we had to include a few cutouts from real grotesques (see if you can spot them!) but I kept mine as tiny and few as I could.
So, lots of randomness here. I had fun. Everything on the right side has a parallel on the left, and there are lots of little repeated gags and stuff. Also, if the image quality is crappy, I'm sorry; the picture is too big to scan, so I was using my bro's digital camera. Thus, the edges look a little funky. Oh well.
Awesome work!
